3rd Essay Draft:

Big City vs. Small Town

A city life is what society calls a life that never sleeps, where everything moves at the speed of light. On the other hand in a small- town, things moves much more slowly. In today‘s society, we’ll notice that after high school graduation, young adults plan on living behind the small town life to move forward to bigger and better things that life has to offer.
In the city, there are things that a person from a small-town wouldn’t be accustomed to such as the undeniable traffic and the tall industrial building found of the corner of each street. In contrast to the big city, traffic in a small town area wouldn’t be as hectic or as common in a place that contains less people. Since the city is more than likely to draw in tourist, it has also been proven that it is an expensive place to live. Considering its population and its popularity of different expensive tall buildings, the taxes are more likely to go up causing everything else within the city to rise in price.
On the other hand, in a small-town where things are more settled compared to a big city, there are less young adults because after graduation, they tend to gain the will into wanting to explore the world around and gain more freedom by moving away from home. One thing that is certain within a small town society is that there is more closure. People come together to establish some sort of community gathering in making sure that people in the neighborhood are all on one accord as far as getting involved in the community. The people are also known to be more friendly and willing to help each other out unlike the big city where everyone is rushing and none has the time to stop and help the person out. With a small town, things are much cheaper and easier to raise a family considering the fact that there are little to no industrial building. Because of the population rate within a small town, lesser traffic is big advantage that the small town has over the big city.
Although, there are many differences between a small town and a big city, they also have similarities. These similarities are the fact that both locations have the basic needs for a society such as education, job, family and health centers. They both have leadership within the society even if the society isn’t as close as the other.
In conclusion, I’d rather live my life in a big city because it is much more live and the city “never sleeps”.
