It is an easier way of life for those who are none cooks or those who just don’t have the time. We, as humans, just don’t understand the fact that, that is spending extra money on food that only last for the time being. Also, fast food has changed today’s families in ways that our grandparents wouldn’t agree with. The valuable family time is being neglected because of the amount of time and money out into fast food restaurants.

The transformation from a smaller town to a much bigger city affected the family in a huge way that family time became the least of matters. Kelly and her brother were more involved in school; the parents became more occupied with work and less attention family dinner. With nothing else to come home to, Kelly and her brother became regular fast food members. Every other morning, Kelly finds herself entering McDonald’s and exiting Taco Bell at night with something for her and her younger brother. The family closeness was no longer available for both Kelly and younger her brother.
